Imperfectly Devoted
Daily encouragement to help you breathe, refocus, and lean on God through the journey of motherhood.

Meet the Author
Bethany Cloyd became a mother at just twenty years old, only a few short years after becoming a Christian. Stepping into motherhood and faith at nearly the same time, she often felt unprepared. The Bible felt intimidating, and without growing up reading or studying Scripture, she didn’t know where to begin. Little by little, she started learning by reading children’s Bibles alongside her kids.
Like so many moms, Bethany admits there were seasons she slipped—letting the busyness of motherhood crowd out time with God. But she is living proof that there is hope for everyone. While she doesn’t claim to be a perfect child of God, she has grown immensely since those early days.
Today, she teaches children’s Bible classes, leads women in studies and VBS, and regularly opens her home to her church family. Bethany sees the eyes of her children as the Church of tomorrow. Her deepest desire is to leave a legacy of faith, showing them her love for Christ through her everyday walk. She wrote this devotional for moms just like herself—those who sometimes feel they aren’t doing enough, don’t know where to begin, or long to make lasting change in their homes.
Her encouragement is simple: start small. Open your Bible. Read with your children. Surround yourself with God’s people. Because in those small steps, God does big things.
